Bob and Cheri Hooper purchased Pierce Nursery in December of 1973. That was the beginning of Hooper's Garden Center. Over the years, the nursery of one glass house, two wooden framed houses, and one wheelbarrow, has bloomed into one of the Northwest's most prestigious nurseries. Hooper's today consists of 16 greenhouses, a large retail house, garden shop, production area, seminar room, seasonal bistro, and a new houseplants area.

In 1998, Hooper's began their largest expansion ever by moving from the original site to one and a half miles east on Montana Highway 35. The new 15 acre site allows for nursery expansion in all areas. This location contains an 80 x 80 Garden Shop, connecting sales area. Our large 160' x 140' Nexus Greenhouse provides an all-inclusive area for your annual shopping. We rotate our stock to bring you only the quality of plant that we as growers would accept in our gardens.

Our Tree and Shrub department has grown throughout the years. Now we can offer the best availability in Northwest Montana. Hooper's prides itself in quality plants and quality knowledge. Our staff will go out of their way to find the answer to any question you may have about your landscape. We are also able to special order many trees or shrubs as long as availabilty permits.

We look forward to many more years of service to the people of the Flathead valley.
